From Kingfishers to Raptors - The Goring Scenic Circuit (3401)

Monday 18 Oct ~ 9:00 AM

This 5 – 5.5 mile circular walk takes in all the best that Goring & Streatley have to offer; two beautiful villages with rolling hillsides and a river stretch. Guests will first have a Kingfisher spotting experience for circa 30 minutes, as this is a known area where they are resident and seen frequently. The route then carries over into Goring and up into Hartslock Nature Reserve, famed for it's flora and fauna as well as scenic views of Red Kites, Buzzards, Kestrels... culminating in a stretch along "yellowhammer corridor" and a river walk return.

This is an earlier start than some walks, but generally earlier is better for seeing an array of birdlife and wildlife. Please allow up to 3.5 hours for this event
