Prestwood and John Hampden Country (2301)

A circular walk through woodland and fields from Prestwood to Great Hampden. The route will include Kiln Common Orchard and Sheepwash Pond, sites maintained by Prestwood Nature, as well as places associated with the Parliamentarian John Hampden.

Fairly easy (some gentle inclines, steps/stiles)


Free of charge but pre-booking required - bookings go live mid-March

Generally level, but a couple of stiles. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

Public toilets in the car park at Prestwood by the start. Refreshments available at The Chequers Tree pub, close to start/end point.
