Bull’s Bags and Butterflies Nordic Walk (2401)

Saturday 16 May ~ 9:30 AM

Grab your Nordic walking poles and explore the Ridgeway National Trail and the Chilterns escarpment in Oxfordshire. Our 8 mile Nordic walk walk starts in the historic village of Lewknor and takes us in the footsteps of ancient wayfarers along the Icknield Way/Ridgeway. We then climb Shirburn Hill to Cowleaze Wood and the Aston Rowant NNR (total ascent 800ft/245m). Finally, we then descend Bald Hill and return to Lewknor. This is a fantastic walk for panoramic views, wild flowers (orchids!) and butterflies!
