Chill out in the Chilterns (walk ref 16)

10th October 10.15am

We know that a good walk in the glorious Chilterns countryside is wonderful for our physical health but it has a powerful positive impact on our mental health, too. So, on this World Mental Health Day, ditch the suits, grab some boots and give yourself a boost! You can also help to raise funds for the Bluebells Day Centre, a Henley based charity dedicated to supporting Dementia patients and their families.
Starting in Nettlebed, our 6 mile circular route takes us deep into the hills and includes two steady climbs (680 ft total ascent). Along the way we are greeted by the vibrant autumn colours of the beech woods and take time to explore evidence of brick and pottery making, the romantic church ruins in Bix Bottom and discover beautiful stained glass windows by John Piper.
