Chesham Bois Village Walk (walk ref 62)

You are warmly invited to join our Councillors in a tour of the historic parish of Chesham Bois. This two-hour walk will feature a number of stories about local landmarks, previous residents, and the variety of wildlife and flora that can be found here.

Walk Leader

Chesham Bois Parish Council is responsible for maintaining the public footpaths in the parish. It has created this circular walk to promote the history and beauty of the Chesham Bois, and this walk leaflet will be made available to all parish residents, and also from local organisations such as Amersham Museum.

Buses 71 & 73 stop close by to the start

Family Friendly

Aged 8+. There are plenty of places for children to explore but they must be supervised, and they must be capable of walking the distance.

Dogs on leads welcome


A stile free walk around the village, through woods and across a field. There is one steep descent of steps, and woodland paths will include tree roots and may be muddy after rain.  Stout shoes recommended.

Further Information

Toilets are available at the Parish Centre. Refreshments will be available at the Parish Centre at the end of the walk
