Wandering Tring Park with Walter (Walk ref 15)

Tring Park is well known for its connection with the Rothschild family, and the naturalist Walter Rothschild in particular. But, there is so much more to see and learn about the history of this fascinating and varied landscape, which we will explore along the walk.

Meeting arrangements

Free Woodland Trust / NH Museum Tring Car Park is available off Hastoe Road, HP23 6AR. Meeting place is the exit of that car park where it meets the lane to the Park, all well signed-posted.

Not far from buses which travel along Tring High Street. Bus numbers 500, 164 and 61. Tring railway station is 2.1 miles away

Further Information

Toilet available at Natural History Museum before walk begins. A visit to the Museum and café would be an enhancement to the walk.
