Chess Valley Photography Walk with Mark King (walk ref 78)

This is a wonderful opportunity to have a day out with Mark King, a local awarding-winning landscape photographer. Starting At Chenies Manor, Mark will lead you on a beautiful circular walk through the Chess Valley. Mark will set up photo opportunities at various locations including the last remaining Watercress Farm in The Chilterns, the River Chess and the picturesque Latimer Village, House and church, and ancient woodland. Bring your camera for a spectacular walk accompanied by expert advice and guidance from two fantastic photographers.

Meet at Chenies Manor. Use the entrance marked "Great House Farm" on the A404 between Chorleywood and Little Chalfont using the post code WD3 6EP. Grid Ref: TQ013983

There is one steady climb out of the valley with a total ascent of around 100m. There could be some muddy sections depending on the weather.

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for the conditions, water, packed lunch and simple first aid kit - and your camera / other kit as required. Toilets will be available at Chenies Manor prior to and after the walk and at Latimer church hall.
