Meet at the National Trust Ashridge Estate Visitor Centre. The entrance to the car park is off the B4506 between Berhamsted and Dagnall. Nearest postcode: HP4 1LX. Grid ref: SP970130

The walk is not directly aimed at children, but they are very welcome providing they can cope with the distance, climb and theme,

Accessibility

There are two steady climbs totalling around 200m and one steep descent. There could be some slippery sections depending on the weather.

Optional refreshments at the end at The Brownlow Café at the visitor centre. There are toilets available.
