The Chilterns has many Midsomer Murders locations clustered together. What better way to explore these special places then by foot, bike or boat – you will see so much more on the way with time to absorb the beautiful landscapes, the tucked-away villages, the pubs, views and sights along the way.

Cycling through Turville villageExplore Midsomer country by bike. The Chiltern Heritage Trail is a 25 mile circular route through the central Chilterns mainly on quiet roads. It starts in Amersham which is on the London Underground metropolitan line. Bikes can be hired from the Bicycle Workshop and delivered to your start point. There are electric bikes too, enjoy the rolling hills and let the bike do the work!
